 Nic Altobelli  is an Italian-Canadian independent filmmaker, with a background in acting and writing. She is a proud CMPA member and an alumni of the Canadian Film Centre Norman Jewison Film Program. Nic considers herself an artist first and brings creative energy to all the projects she works on. Her first short film as a director, entitled INBTWN, premiered at Hollywood Horrorfest and won two awards: Best Body Horror and Best International Short. It will continue its festival run at Oscar qualifying Bogotá Short Film Festival BOGOSHORTS in Colombia and in Canada was selected at both Chilliwack Independent and Blood In the Snow Film Festival. A music video she wrote the concept for and directed premiered at Tallgrass Film Festival and Toronto International Music Video Festival.

 

Nic has also produced projects for other creatives under her banner in Toronto, Vancouver, Vietnam and Los Angeles. Naltobel films have screened at international film festivals including TIFF, VIFF, Fantasia, Hollyshorts, Festival du Nouveau Cinema, Fright Fest, Raindance, Whistler Film Festival, Reelworld, Sun Valley Film Festival and Vancouver Asian Film Festival. Their work has been seen around the world and their impact on audiences continues to grow.
